Alexx (Alexendre Lapointe) was born in 1986. This youg guy had sticks in his hands pretty early... He always knew what direction to take. His first album was ''Use Your Illusion'' from Guns & Roses, and also some Pink Floyd and stuff... Alexx gets his first drum on christmas 1995 and at the age of 9 he gives it a trie on Pink Floyd and Aerosmith.

In the year 2000 he starts taking drum's lessons, where he touches a large range of musical styles from Celine Dion to Metallica. He's got rythm and his teacher is confident that it's just the begining of something hot. During 5 years he will deepen his skills, learning drum rudiments and techniques. Once a year his music school makes a benefit concert and Alexx plays drum for different artists and different styles as well, always keeping in mind that his dream is forward to become.

Alexx' actual influences are sure contrasting with that time; Dimmu Borgir, Sliptknot, Slayer,etc... At the age of 18, he gets to practice covers from bands like; At The Gates, Slayer, Pantera, Ramstein, Korn and Mudvaine to name just a few. With some friends he also plays in a tribute to Children of Bodom wich will last 3 months. That will give him the opportunity to make a concert for his ''high school'' LA Seigneurie'' in Beauport Qc.

Summer 2004 will change his youg life by entering the Memorium familly. At the audition, the 3 formers fell for him and immediately saw all his potential.

Alexx is what could happened best to Memorium. His motivation, his energy and his determination are very inspiring for the band...
